As an integrative holistic health specialist I work with clients on how to improve their mental and physical health, create self-care treatment plans, improve medical intervention outcomes, and optimize pre-surgery preparedness through a variety of alternative and integrative therapies including nutrition, supplementation, stress management, and detox. Incorporating hypnotherapy and Rapid Transformation Therapy® with behavior modification tools, I empower sustainable lifestyle changes, spiritual growth, and personal responsibility. I am GEHA (Guardian Ecclesiastic Health Association) and IHA (International Hypnosis Association) certified as well as a licensed Rapid Transformation Therapy (RTT) practitioner.

I have proudly supervised all aspects of this small repair and manufacturing business, including payroll, legal, and fiduciary responsibilities for more than 33 years. I specialize in budget, cash-flow, and asset management and federal, state, and local tax compliance. I provide administrative and tech support to staff and the owner, and am an expert in Excel, maintaining all accounting records, business documentation, and annual profit-and-loss reports. I am also the communications officer, web designer, media content creator, and responsible for our interactive website and online revenue channels.

Regal Home Services: Controller Broward, West Palm Beach, Florida                                          11/2017-1/2019

Initially, I worked closely with the DO, HR, and administrators to restructure and replace defective business practices. The result was increased productivity and systemic improvements. Enforced HIPAA compliance improved provider credibility, resulting in a 5% increase in referral revenue within the first year. Accurate accounting and cash-flow reports improved managerial decision making. Account receivable protocols increased forecasting and fund reliability. I also collected over $200K in delinquent receivables within the first few months. In less than a year, I secured electronic banking and data syncing to improve the function of QuickBooks. I repaired a corrupted EHR to correct coding failures. Timely billing improved cash flow and increased revenues. My responsibilities also included ad hoc fiscal reports, budgets, and year-end financials, as well as supervising all other fiduciary-related jobs: tax reporting, payroll, AR, AP, budgets, and billing.

Years of business and accounting experience helped me generate 50% more income for this grassroots nonprofit within a single year. Analysis of national giving benchmarks uncovered fundraising opportunities that increased donor subscriptions by 200%. Redundant saddle elimination and renegotiating vendor contracts saved the organization $100K in annual expenses. I applied online networking suites to their social media platform to create promotional events and brand credibility, resulting in a 75% increase in international awareness and donor retention. Enforced GAAP standards and timely financial reporting ensured their federal 501(c) (3) status.

A key contributor to the production of a city-wide annual festival, I liaised with officials, entertainment assets, and executive officers to negotiate fiduciary and philanthropic contracts. Solely responsible for developing and facilitating the scholar awards program and literary events. Production manager and presenter, I oversaw all aspects of the annual literary workshop, including promotions, asset acquisitions, social media promotions, inventories, and piloting the trade-show booths. By implementing an annual online survey, I improved customer engagement and satisfaction five years in a row. I was also responsible for creating and staying on budget while promoting program expansion and maintaining grant and municipal accommodations.

 

The CSFOA, with the Broward County Cultural Division and Friends of Music, voted me 2015 Volunteer of the Year. In collaboration with the CSFOA and the Coral Springs Artist Guild, I established an annual community outreach and scholarship program that has awarded over $150K to high school students while I was in office.
